Overview
Web Monitor Pro is a Chrome extension that helps users monitor selected webpage text for changes and receive browser notifications when changes are detected.
Information Stored by the Extension
Web Monitor Pro stores monitor settings locally in the user's browser, including page URLs, CSS selectors, selected text snapshots, check frequency, monitor status, and recent change history.
How Information Is Used
This information is used only to provide the extension's core functionality: checking whether selected webpage content has changed and showing browser notifications to the user.
Data Sharing
Web Monitor Pro does not sell, rent, transfer, or share personal information with third parties.
Remote Servers
Web Monitor Pro does not require a user account and does not send monitor data to our own servers. Monitoring data is stored locally in the user's Chrome browser.
